Which NZ artist/band do you think will be a huge international success one day?

Jamie: Huge international success?? thats a big call could be anyone, personally I think there is some quite good nz bands at the moment that should be more successful rangeing like – Die! Die! Die!, Mint Chicks, The Fanatics, Kora etc

Warwick: Autozamm have potential, but realistically, if Shihad can’t do it, can anyone? DJs are the only hope now for international success.

Who would you most like to tour with?

Jamie: Dreaming would be something like Qotsa/Foo Fighters/SoundGarden, but really any good band, it would be awesome to tour anyway.

Warwick: Someone who wants to tour with us.

What is your most embarrassing concert moment?

Jamie: Twisting my ankle while falling off a drum riser just before we started playing, thankfully no one noticed ;)

Warwick: don’t have one

What are you planning on doing during the next year?

Jamie: More band gigs & hopefully some recordings

Warwick: composing a one movement symphonic poem/overture, or something like that. Band will do more gigs I guess

How did you come up with the name Innominado?

Jamie: Warwick & Adam came up with it before I joined.

Warwick: A visit to the streets of Almondegas gave us something we didn’t have before – a name.

What is in your CD collection at home?

Jamie: Foo Fighters, Qotsa, Kyuss, Nirvana, RHCP, Metallica, SoundGarden, Mars Volta, Shihad, Mint Chicks, Die! Die! Die!, Janes Addiction, Led Zeppelin, Melissa Auf Der Maur, RadioHead, System Of Down, Smashing Pumpkins

Warwick: Mozart, Delius, Prokofiev, Tool, Bad Religion, Led Zeppelin, Kyuss, QOTSA, Tori Amos, Shellac, Izzy Stradlin, Handsome, Feersum Ennjin, Lusk.

What advice would you give other budding musicians/bands?

Jamie: Practise practise practise!! don’t follow trends, be yourself. Play as many gigs as possible.

Warwick: Don’t hold grudges. Forgive and forget – the music is what its about, not egos.
