Auckland punks Die! Die! Die! release ‘450’ video – from new 7″ out now
Tamaki Makaurau-based noise-punks Die! Die! Die! are celebrating the release of their new 7″, midway through a NZ tour, with a brand new video clip to second track 450.
The I Seek Misery / 450 7″ is the second release from the band since they reformed their original line-up of guitarist/vocalist Andrew Wilson, drummer Michael Prain and newly returned bassist Lachlan Anderson.
On last year’s O the band harkened back to their noisiest, most frenetic punk roots. On the new tracks Die! Die! Die! keep up the high-energy noise but with melodic and shoegaze flourishes.
The trio recorded both new tracks in a single session at Roundhead Studios in Auckland, with both tracks engineered and mixed by Steven Marr and mastered by Mikey Young (Total Control).
