An upbeat country-soul swing take on the track written and performed by Neil Sedaka in 1974, Betty-Anne’s Laughter in the Rain is the second single from her forthcoming debut solo album Slow Burn.
The track speaks to the joy, innocence, and hope that accompany any love story. With a strong storytelling ability, Betty-Anne brings a new swing to this classic track.
Betty-Anne’s waiata are a deeply personal body of work exploring healing, resilience, and hope. Her solo debut began strongly in November 2025 with the release of two singles, You Remain and Pūmau Tonu Koe, the latter the te reo Māori version.
