Big Sima & Boomtown Release ‘The Price of Peace’ EP + Announce Tour

Big Sima & Boomtown have released The Price of Peace – the third and final EP in their Peace Trilogy. Following Early In The Peace and Peace Be The Journey, the trilogy now reaches its conclusion three years in the making. Alongside the release, the band have dropped lead single Six Strings and announced a five-date spring tour with special guest IVRSN. Early bird tickets are on sale now.
Written by the band vocalists Emile McKenzie and Big Sima, Six Strings began life as an acoustic jam and grew into one of the band’s most fully realised recordings. The track opens with an ode to the goodlife by Emile before stepping into Big Sima’s verse, a candid look back at the early days of his creative journey. From there it builds steadily, drawing in the full band and culminating in a sweeping guitar solo that carries the song to its close.
As the closing track on the EP, Six Strings brings the entire trilogy to rest. The band has always held that moving forward requires first acknowledging where you have come from and how far you have travelled. Six Strings is that acknowledgement.

The Price of Peace is a five-track EP spanning introspection, celebration, and hard-won clarity. Mixed, recorded, and produced by James Goldsmith, Lee Prebble, and Nazarite at The Surgery Studios, it is the most complete and cohesive statement the band has yet put to record.
