Fuzen + Sub180 Present Dizzee Rascal Live In Christchurch

Christchurch is set for one of its biggest outdoor concerts of the summer as UK grime pioneer Dizzee Rascal brings his acclaimed We Want Bass Tour to Cathedral Square on Wednesday December 9, joined by one of British rap’s brightest stars, ArrDee.

Pre-sale registrations open on Monday, July 20, at 5.30 pm HERE, and pre-sale begins Wednesday, July 22, at 5.30 pm. General public is on sale Thursday, July 23, at 5.30 pm.

For the first time, Christchurch audiences will experience a full Dizzee Rascal headline performance, with the multi-award-winning artist delivering a career-spanning set featuring the songs that helped redefine UK music.

Fans can expect an unforgettable night of huge production, booming bass and era-defining anthems including Bonkers, Dance Wiv Me, Holiday, Fix Up ,Look Sharp, Dirtee Cash, Bassline Junkie and more.

Released when Dizzee was just 18 years old, his landmark debut album Boy In Da Corner changed the course of British music, earning the prestigious Mercury Prize and laying the foundations for grime to become a global phenomenon. Since then, Dizzee Rascal has collected multiple UK No. 1 singles, won the BRIT Award for Best British Male Artist and collaborated with artists including Calvin Harris, Armand Van Helden and Shakira, cementing his status as one of the UK’s most influential performers.

Joining him for the Christchurch concert is ArrDee, one of the most exciting voices in modern UK rap. Since bursting onto the scene with his standout verse on the No. 1 single Body Remix, ArrDee has delivered a string of chart-smashing hits, including Oliver Twist, Flowers (Say My Name) and War featuring Aitch. His debut mixtape Pier Pressure debuted at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart, topped the UK Streaming Chart and became the year’s biggest streaming mixtape. Recent collaborations, including Liquor & Cigarettes with Chase & Status and Hedex have continued his rapid rise.

Together, Dizzee Rascal and ArrDee represent two generations of British rap and grime, bringing one of the year’s most anticipated international lineups to Christchurch.
