Ghost Score releases propulsive new single ‘Ridgeglow’
Wellington-based electronic musician Ghost Score releases the new single Ridgeglow on 1 May 2026, the lead single from his debut album Sunstrike, out 29 May.
Ridgeglow is beat-driven and kinetic, built from layered textures and driving rhythms that build across a clear arc. It is the first glimpse of Sunstrike, a seven-track album recorded in Wellington, made with the support of Creative New Zealand Toi Aotearoa.
Ghost Score is the project of Alan Molina, a violinist with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.
Ridgeglow was mixed by Bevan Smith and mastered by Josh Llewellyn at Downbeat Mastering in Auckland.
“Ridgeglow came out of driving the winding mountain roads here in New Zealand, the way the landscape keeps shifting around each bend, the vistas becoming more expansive the higher you get.”
