High Tide Returns to Waitangi Park

Multi-genre music festival High Tide kicks off the summer on Saturday 7 November for its second year at Waitangi Park, Wellington. Following a sold-out debut at their new location last year, the 2026 festival will be its biggest yet, with thousands of festivalgoers set to attend.
This year’s line-up features international and local talent and festivalgoers can expect a full programme spanning drum and bass, electronic dance music, hip hop, rap and UK garage.
Charles Clatworthy of High Tide Festival and Coastal Promotions, says: “We’re incredibly excited to return to Waitangi Park following last year’s sold-out debut, transforming Wellington’s waterfront into a seaside festival paradise. This year brings our biggest and most diverse lineup yet, including our signature drum & bass programming led by our biggest-ever headliner, Hybrid Minds, alongside global house icon MK and UK hip-hop artist Ocean Wisdom, both performing exclusive New Zealand shows.”
Returning to Waitangi Park and with increased capacity, High Tide continues to cement its place as one of Wellington’s major music events.
WellingtonNZ Events & Experiences GM, Heidi Morton, says: “High Tide marks the start of Wellington’s summer festival season, and we can’t wait to welcome people back to Waitangi Park. Events like High Tide bring people together, celebrate our local music talent, create a vibrant atmosphere across the city, and support local businesses.
“With the festival taking place on a Saturday, we hope that Wellingtonians and visitors from around the country will make the most of their weekend in Wellington. Coinciding with the second ODI between the BLACKCAPS and India, as well as the General Election, it’s shaping up to be a busy and exciting weekend across the capital, with plenty on offer for both residents and visitors.”
Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 12 August at 7:00pm NZT on www.audiologytouring.com
