Hope Returns with Reo-Rua Neo-Soul Track ‘Taukaea’
Hope returns with Taukaea, a reo-rua, hook-driven neo-soul track about the unseen threads that connect us to the people who end up shaping our lives. Produced by Noema Te Hau III, the track pairs grounded production with layered group vocals, weaving together alongside Hope’s signature melody lines. At its core, it’s a song about connection, timing, and the pull of those we’re tied to, even before we meet them.
Hope made a strong impression with her debut single, and this release further cements her as a rising force in the local scene. Supported by Waiata Anthems, the release will be accompanied by a short documentary premiering the day before release, followed by a full-length music video on release day, with additional visual content rolling out in the weeks following.
