New Zealand–born singer-songwriter, author, and speaker Emma G returns home this March for a nationwide tour following a recent performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

Originally from Raglan and Hamilton, and now based in the United States, Emma has built an international career at the intersection of music and mental health. Her book Mental Health Sounds Like This recently reached #1 Amazon Best Seller status in both the Emotional Mental Health and Songwriting categories and has since received two awards for its impact.

The book is currently being explored by a social workers, therapists, and counsellors book club in England, and Emma also serves as an Executive Contributor for Brainz Magazine, writing on creativity, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.

Now, she brings that work home.

Blending live acoustic music, storytelling, and practical tools for emotional resilience, Emma’s events invite teens, parents, and adults alike to explore how creativity can support identity, communication, and wellbeing.

“Music gives us language for what we don’t always know how to say,” Emma says. “These events aren’t just performances – they’re conversations about finding your voice and using it with courage.”

Her sessions combine:

– Author talk
– Stripped-back acoustic performance
– Interactive reflection
– Q&A and book signing

The tour will include appearances at libraries, independent bookstores, and festival events across the country:

Emma’s work resonates across generations – from teenagers navigating identity and anxiety, to parents seeking better communication tools, to adults reconnecting with creativity after years of silence.

Her newly released single Worthy of Love (feat. Jarreau Williams) continues this mission, exploring themes of self-worth, belonging, and emotional courage.

“Whether you’re a singer or not,” Emma says, “you have a voice. And when we learn how to use it – creatively, honestly – it changes everything.”

All events are community-centered and open to the public.
