Kentucky Fried Children To Play One-Off Reunion Show
After a decade in hibernation, Ōtautahi’s favourite feast of Swampy, Southern-fried blues rock is back on the menu. The legendary Kentucky Fried Children return for one night only, serving up a greasy platter of their greatest hits – and misses.
The band, who met during their formative years while studying music, are performing in their hometown at Ōtautahi’s Darkroom on December 6th, their first show together in nearly 10 years. Tickets are $15+bf via Under The Radar, and the lineup features veteran rockers St Peter’s Thursday as well as pop punk band Goodbye Starlet.
In celebration of their show, they have dug deep through their old demos and are releasing The Colonel’s Archives, a selection of their favourite unreleased songs recorded between 2014-2015.
