Each project will get $5,000 to make a music video. Decisions are based on airplay potential after testing the songs with music video broadcasters and taking into account current radio priorities.

NEW RECORDINGS
Eight new recording projects out of a field of 166 applications (plus one for the Coke SmokeFree Rockquest winning band as part of the joint-venture sponsorship with The Edge).

Each project will get $5,000 to record a song for radio. Decisions are based on commercial radio airplay potential, using commercial radio expertise and experience and testing the songs with commercial radio programmers.
