It combines elements of mainstream indie pop with a hard alt twist. Featuring squelchy synthesizers, hard rhythms and a master that explodes out of any soundsystem, Clockwork is the anticipated first official single from his upcoming analog album. The song is written about the fear of failure and mounting internal pressure one feels on themselves. It describes uncomfortable references to society from an abstract angle. It challenges against the current push for financial gain over moral societal obligations.

Clockwork was originally written and finished over the timespan of 5 months over the writing process, recording, production and even experimentation of the song. This is Lewis’s best work yet and not a release to miss out on. The promotion and marketing of Clockwork is just as weird, pushing with hard egdy visual image behind the number.
