Lévyne surrenders to other people’s perceptions in A Side ‘Losing Sleep’

Losing Sleep, the first of two singles from artist and producer Lévyne – is set to arrive on the 8th October, and serves as a gentle reminder that Sophie Bialostocki (aka Lévyne) is here to stay. With a warm and subdued soundscape to start that builds into a punchline chorus and undeniable pop melodies, Losing Sleep signposts the final stage of her healing process – acknowledging personal growth and accepting that you can’t control the other side of the story.

Since the release of her last single Misconceptions in 2020, Lévyne has become much more than just a rising pop artist. Closing out the year with a performance at Rhythm and Vines (and also joining Leaping Tiger’s set) she has already played 7 shows to date in 2021 including a Tuning Fork showcase alongside Indyah and Who Shot Scott, and opening for London-based artist Navvy, Sophie has also established herself as a female producer in a predominantly male industry, receiving two producer grants to develop new artists through NZ on Air.

Accompanied by a music video shot by Oscar Keys – portraying a different story of growth.. from childhood to adulthood, the B side single I Don’t Think It’s Me will be released in November, and she is actively writing and producing for a new EP with key collaborator Harry Charles and writers such as Matthew Young and Ash Wallace from Foley.
