Maebh McCurdy Releases New Song ‘He’s Giving (Live At Isdale Studios)’ + Announces Album

After shedding the moniker Leigh that she’s used for the past year and changing her artist name to her new legal name, Maebh McCurdy is releasing a live album this coming March featuring songs from 2025’s Empathy for My Future Self, such as the singles, March of the Cucks, I Still Love the Moon, & Comfortable?.
Recorded live with her band The Morrígan by Andrew Isdale (Katchafire, Reiki Ruawai, Summer Thieves) at Andrew’s mum & dad’s house. The album features Jessie Booth (Ekko Park, Elemeno P, Sam Cullen) on guitar, Kieren Norman (The Early 20’s, Velveteen Shakes) on bass, Josh Parker (Daily J, The Nukes) on drums, and a live video filmed by Jake McLeod, Keegan Tunks (Velveteen Shakes), and Isdale himself.
The first single from the album, He’s Giving, a trans-anthem whose studio version featured vocals from Eve Jones (CCTV), Aaliyah ‘Baby Zionov’ Zionov, and Madeline ‘deryk’ Bradley, is out now everywhere accompanied by a live music video, and Maebh & the Morrígan (Live at Isdale Studios) is available to pre-order from Maebh McCurdy’s bandcamp page.
