Medusa Glare Release New Single ‘Witches Water’ Ahead of Devilskin Support
Hamilton rock outfit Medusa Glare follow up their recent release Heart with a heavier offering in Witches Water – a track that showcases the band’s signature sound and rhythm section to devastating effect.
Witches Water features the drum and bass foundations of Rick Walker and Nathan Waters, the terra firma providing the vantage point for guitar (Simon) and vocals (Jase). Collectively Walker and Waters deliver deep, heavy and unrelenting pockets of groove that tips a cap to stalwarts such as Rage, Sabbath and possibly a hint of early 90’s Pantera; whilst, remaining firmly rooted in Medusa’s lair.
Witches Water is released in advance of, and dedicated to, the metal kin of Devilskin, who Medusa open for in Hastings on October 2nd. But make no mistake ladies and gents, this track is a showcase for the rhythm section of the Glare, the one and only Walker/Waters wrecking machine.
Out now, Witches Water is a love letter from the Walker/Waters rhythm section, reminding us what drum and bass in the rock genre were invented for – demolition.
