Auckland musician Mikey Videotape returns this November with a haunting and cinematic reimagining of Radiohead’s most beloved songs performed live with The Videotape String Quartet and special guest Erin Fagan on piano.

After a string of sold-out tribute performances (Radiohead/ Bowie), Mikey and the ensemble are back with an all-new set of arrangements, exploring Radiohead’s emotional depth through lush strings, subtle electronics, and live piano.
Expect moments of intimacy and grandeur in equal measure. From the ghostly beauty of Nude and Pyramid Song to the soaring climaxes of Creep, Lucky, and Karma Police.

Featuring some of New Zealand’s finest string players – Charmian Keay, Lydia Sewell, Ben Harrison, and Begonia Chan… the performance brings Radiohead’s music into a new cinematic light, bridging classical elegance with the raw power of alternative rock.

“It’s not a tribute act,” says Mikey Videotape (aka Mikey Brown). “It’s a love letter. We’re exploring what makes these songs timeless, their fragility, their tension, their beauty. We’re letting the strings tell that story.”

The concert takes place at St Luke’s Church, Remuera, one of Auckland’s most atmospheric venues, renowned for its soaring acoustics and intimate ambience.
