Park Rd Shares New Single ‘Floodlights’ from Second Studio Album ‘Boyhood’
PARK RD have today shared their new single, Floodlights’ from their highly anticipated second studio album, Boyhood – out Friday November 13.
PARK RD says; “Floodlights is a very special song on the album, we feel like the whole band can all relate to the lyrics somehow. It was one of the first tracks we finished on the album, and has always felt like one of our favourites. It serves as a bit of a centrepiece to the album, coming halfway through the album.
“It’s about wanting the best for someone who’s no longer in your life. We recorded it with Jol Mulholland, who was actually the first producer we ever worked with, and is a legend who really gets our sound. It’s a track that really shows the growth in our sound too, it still sounds like PARK RD, but also helps it feel like a step forward from our first album.”
The new album Boyhood will be celebrated by the band who hit the road from November 13, playing in seven cities across New Zealand and Australia.
