Radio Dash Launches in Aotearoa – A New Music PR Service for DIY Artists

An innovative music PR service, Radio Dash, has just launched in Aotearoa, offering accessible and effective promo support tailored for independent artists.
Radio Dash is a micro-business founded by Auckland-based indie pop artist Amy Shuang Wang (AKA Raging Flowers). After navigating the music release process solo, Amy realised there were very few affordable services available to independent artists – and even fewer that were transparent about what they offered. She created Radio Dash to change that.
All services and pricing are listed openly at radiodash.nz.
What Radio Dash Offers:
– Pitching music to 400+ community and college radio stations worldwide
– Modern music marketing (social media, playlists, sync pitching, and more)
– Short-term music management for single releases
– Indie-artist-friendly prices
By and for Indie Artists
Radio Dash is rooted in Amy’s own DIY musician journey. In 2024, she released eight self-produced singles, received airplay on 28 international radio stations, appeared on the NZ Radioscope Alt Chart, was awarded two songwriting mentorships, secured sync representation in the US and Australia, and grew her Spotify following by 1,400 followers – all without label support. Since then, artist friends have been reaching out to Amy for help with their own promo, and now she’s making her services available to a wider community.
Transparent and Affordable
Radio Dash’s pricing model is designed to meet artists where they’re at. The most affordable package allows promo-savvy artists to save money by preparing their own EPK and writing their own pitches, while higher-tier packages offer more hands-on support, including social media strategy and music management.
