Rancho Mirage Unveil New Single ‘The Winter’
Emerging act Rancho Mirage have today released their highly
anticipated third single, The Winter.
The Winter started the ball rolling for Rancho Mirage. It was written during the COVID lockdowns, with winter serving as a metaphor for being shut away from the outside world and longing to experience life again – especially getting back out into the music scene.
The verses also pay homage to Cars Hiss by My Window by The Doors, as its sense of confinement and melancholy felt like the perfect emotional fit.
One lesson from that time is not to stay indoors for too long, even in winter. Getting outside and spending time in nature can lift the weight of isolation and breathe life back into your spirit.
