SAZ Releases ‘Friend Like Me’
Auckland-based singer-songwriter SAZ releases her latest single, Friend Like Me, ahead of her debut EP In Plain Sight (Nov 21, 2025).
Friend Like Me began as a reflection on feeling unseen and disconnected, and grew into a celebration of self-acceptance and friendship. Recorded at Broome Studios with producers Tom Broome and Jacob Brown, the track seamlessly blends heartfelt singer-songwriter and folk warmth with SAZ’s signature storytelling flair.
This single follows Til Spring Comes Again (Sept 19, 2025), a reflective ballad about personal growth and the subtle changes brought by the seasons, also featured on the upcoming EP.
The EP In Plain Sight offers four tracks that explore identity, connection, and emotional honesty, each with a distinct flavour: from folk-tinged warmth to rock energy, and even a touch of musical theatre.
