Hot off the heels of his gritty single offthegrid, New Zealand’s genre-breaking powerhouse Shehatesjacob is back with talkofthetown – a high-octane, punk-rap anthem dripping with angst, distortion, and digital chaos.
Drawing inspiration from artists like glaive, ericdoa, and the underground hyperpop/rock scene, talkofthetown is equal parts punk noise and hyperpop electronica – a 2-minute adrenaline hit that’s as emotionally raw as it is relentlessly catchy. Fueled by white noise heavy synths, blown-out guitar riffs, and autotuned hooks, this is Shehatesjacob at his most unfiltered.
