Sin City Share Garage-Country Track ‘Breakdown In Dallas’ + Official Video

New Zealand’s own garage-country/soul twosome, Sin City, share their 70’s throwback, Lauren Canyon-esque track Breakdown In Dallas, ahead of their album Welcome To Sin City. Made up of Jack Beesley and Nick Armstrong, two members of New Zealand’s own garage-punk outfit The Cavemen, Sin City bring their exuberant personalities into display with their charming official video where the band run amok on late-night TV.

Having toured the world throughout 2019 (UK, Europe, South East Asia, Australasia, Cuba, Mexico and USA) to promote their 4th LP Night After Night, and reluctant to return to the hard graft of life in Brexit/Covid UK, their home for the past 5 years, they instead holed up in a cheap apartment block in provincial Spain, sitting out Covid and inadvertently knocking out a catalogue of 100+ bangers.

Back in the bosom of family and the relative Covid safety of Aotearoa circa late 2020, Sin City set about road-testing the fruits of their recent labour. Mid 2021, under the genial guidance of folk troubadour and human talisman Delaney Davidson, the band booked into The Lab studios to record Welcome to Sin City. Delaney helped whittle 100 tracks down to 13 and assembled a crack team of ring-in players to craft agarage country, blue-eyed soul-inflected testament to lost loves, lost leather jackets and sundry tales from the road.

Their Album, Welcome to Sin City is out via 1:12 records on the 1st of April, with limited vinyl available from Flying Out.
