Sire Drops 6-Track EP ‘Food For Thought II’
R&B-gospel artist Sire (Isaiah Tavita Fa’amoe), from Taranaki, has released his six-track EP Food For Thought II on all streaming platforms today, through his label Homeville.
The follow-up to Food For Thought – which has surpassed 10 million streams worldwide – the EP moves across R&B-pop, afrobeat, amapiano and reggae, tracing Sire’s own walk of faith through vulnerability, celebration, temptation and encouragement.
The digital release follows a three-week physical-first rollout. Food For Thought II arrived first as a limited-edition CD on 4 September, exclusive to physical, with every copy including a handwritten dedication note and an A3 poster – a collectible approach in a streaming-first era. Lead single Mind Is At, produced by Khalilionaire, has already passed 200,000+ streams, with editorial playlist placements including New Music Friday AU/NZ and R&B Connect, and a peak of No. 14 on the Hot 20 Aotearoa Singles chart. The United States remains its largest listening market.
