For the past decade, Sola Rosa has split genres and crowded dance-floors, ensuring mastermind Andrew Spraggon’s reputation as one of New Zealand’s most innovative and versatile producers.
Today their genre-bending blend of soul, funk, jazz and hip hop returns in the shape of their new single Never Too Far, featuring the vocals of talented American soul/funk songstress, Georgia Anne Muldrow, artist on respected U.S. label Stones Throw and favourite singer of Erykah Badu.
This new track is a percussive dance driven offering, flaunting a dirty bass synth and showcasing Muldrow’s sense of phrasing, melody and vocal conviction. Never Too Far is sure to put feet on the floor.
