Songwriters 4 Climate Action and The Dirty Tones proudly unveil their new single Water Is Life Feat. Edwin Judd, arriving today, Friday, 12 December. A bright, breezy “summer buzz” tune wrapped in sunny Pop Rock and Alternative Rock vibes, Water Is Life pairs feel-good kiwi beach energy with a deeper message about one of the most urgent issues of our time: climate change.
Written by Tony Bullen, the song was sparked during songwriting workshops with Songwriters 4 Climate Action (SW4CA). What emerged is a track that feels like a warm walk down a long sandy beach – light, carefree, and shimmering with melody – while subtly confronting the realities of global warming, ocean degradation, and the fragile ecosystems that sustain us.
“We wanted to create something that feels good on the surface, but carries a gentle wake-up call underneath,” says Tony Bullen. “Water Is Life celebrates the joy of the ocean while reminding us that its health is inseparable from our own.”
