The RVMES New Single + Video ‘Any Better Reason’ Out Now
Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland – based band The RVMES are back with their mesmerizing new single Any Better Reason – a rolling alt-rock track that taps into the kind of unspoken connection you have with the people who always show up for you.
It’s the first glimpse into the band’s forthcoming 11-track album Boundary Issues, crafted with Casey and John Messent at Wardrobe Studios and released under their new label, AAA Records. The track drifts between atmospheric chords, harmonized guitar hooks, deep bass and drum grooves, and a soaring, unforgettable guitar solo.
The single arrives alongside a one-take music video by TeMuri, shot at double speed before being slowed to match frontman Edwin Judd’s lips – and his sweet (and some may say questionable) dance moves. It’s a dreamy ride that pairs perfectly with the song’s sonic signature.
