Two Dollar Trio (Adam Hattaway, Nick Armstrong and Dillon Feeney) are back with their second single – rock n roll songwriters united across Melbourne and Aotearoa.

The band’s second single Murder Me Again is out today. A light hearted take on the comparison of being ghosted and being murdered. A barnstorming, country-soul swingfest, inspired by an incel workmate’s insufferable uttering. The song has been put through the Two Dollar filter with plain spoken lyrics we can all relate to. “You don’t pick the phone up when I call anymore and it feels just like murder, what did you do it for.”

With the bold decision of yacht rock guitar shredding, telephone line lead vocals and an ultra catchy chorus, here’s another 70’s slanted rocker to prepare listeners for the LP in full force.

The single release comes with the news of their debut album, The Interesting Sounds Of The Two Dollar Trio which hits the stores October 23. Recorded mostly at Soundpark in Melbourne at the end of ‘25, the album serves up 12 songs all written by the Trio, every song dripping with harmonies and country soul punch. They’ll be performing at the Merri Creek Tavern in Naarm that very day, with NZ shows soon to be announced.
