Tauranga-based darkwave/psychedelic post punk project, We Will Ride Fast is the musical alter-ego of singer/multi-instrumentalist and multi-disciplinary artist Kyle Sattler – whose Post-Punk Ontological Investigation continues into 2026 with the release of new single In Numbers.

On In Numbers, We Will Ride Fast is again joined by fellow Tauranga-based melodic alt‑pop songwriter Frances Ellen, with mixing and mastering duties handled by Lewis Kelly. who has his HQ in Nottingham (UK).
Sattler says that We Will Ride Fast ‘s new single In Numbers “channels the brooding pulse of darkwave and post-punk into a hypnotic meditation on identity and belonging.
