Whangamata & Nelson Beach Break 2023

The mighty Shapeshifter launches a brand new summer festival series with a new must-do 1 day festival for the holidaymakers and locals alike.

Beach Break Whangamata will take place on Auckland Anniversary Weekend 2023 at Williamson Park – Whangamata, where Shapeshifter are joined by Australian psych-rock group Ocean Alley, roots-driven hypnotic dance trio My Baby, Raglan groovers Masaya & rising Auckland surf-rock and reggae band Flaxxies.

Beach Break Nelson will be Shapeshifters’ exclusive South Island show this summer, where the band are supported by roots and rock fusion legends Kora, My Baby, and the next generation of Aotearoa reggae royalty Muroki. Plus, more to be announced. The Nelson concert is a family-friendly beachside affair, with a day and evening of 100% good vibes in the hot summer sun. Kids under 12 are FREE with a parent or a legal guardian*.
