Get It Together; The Remixes

The first thing I want to say about this CD is GO BUY IT; it is easily the best CD out so far this year. If you liked ‘Get It Together’, the Remixes album is not just a documentation of life, or a soundtrack to summer that you reminisce with, the more you listen to it, it becomes a way of life.

Sola Rosa does not fit into a single genre and the Remixes Album has a diverse abundance of tracks for every occasion even though there are only 8 songs, there are 15 incredible tracks which feature an eclectic selection of vocalists including Iva Lamkum, German singer Bajka, and Spikey Tee.

Booming brass, slamming bass, Mariachi and Sci-fi sit together with a smooth and precise collaborations that when experienced, will change the way you hear music.

I had the pleasure of watching Sola Rosa during music month at Bar 3 in Auckland and they became the band that I fell in love with when I saw them live, however, The Remixes album outshines just a live experience and makes capturing music on a CD imperative.
