Single/Video Review: Here We Are Still

Post-Industrial Metal duo Lakius have another explosive single, this time directly in reference to our country’s marijuana legislation falling short by a 2% margin last year.

Here We Are Still is another assault to the senses. Head banging ferocity only amplifies the subject matter, especially with such a relative and captivating video of archival footage throughout history pertaining to marijuana reform.

As per Lakius’ sound, it is crushingly heavy with a fantastic fast tempo and I love vocalist/guitarist, Tony Charles’ guttural screams, his intensity, the power and distortion. Another unrelenting and awesome piece of art from them both and I love the rawness of it.
