Hailing from Tāmaki Makaurau, New Zealand, As Colour Fades delivers a blend of nostalgic post hardcore combined with their take on modern metalcore, weaving raw emotion with crushing instrumentals.
2024 saw the band return to the scene with the anthemic single Endeavour, quickly followed by the emotionally charged Keep Saying Goodbye in May and rounded out the year with the explosive energy of Pressure, featuring the late HeyLee Manzeron.
Led by original vocalist Conin Bowker, ACF’s lineup brings together old friends and new faces: bassist Chris Horsley, guitarists Georgi Dobrev and Garian Leighton-Anderson, and the recently recruited Ross Curtain on the drums.
Together, they craft music that resonates deeply with fans, blending intensity and vulnerability in equal measure. The sound might have changed, but the message remains the same.
In 2025, As Colour Fades teamed up with German writer/producer MateLojic on the symphonic Release Me. A track which showcased their ability to traverse different genres while maintaining their own unique sound.
It doesn’t stop there either, with plenty more new music on the horizon and potential return to the stage to come. A return which comes with the promise of the same energetic live show the band was originally built upon.
All this in a bid to continue ACF’s mission of lifting up New Zealand’s Heavy Music scene and presenting it to the rest of the world.
