Leigh Releases New Single ‘March of the Cucks’
March of the Cucks, the second single from Leigh’s upcoming album Empathy for My Future Self is now available on all major streaming platforms. Based on a song Leigh heard in a dream about trans women unionising to cuck transhobes. Mastered by Tyler ‘Shamplooh‘ Trench (he/him), and with artwork painted by Tashi Donnelly (she/her).
Leigh is the art pop solo project of Cameron McCurdy (she/her), a trans musician, comic artist, writer & fae creature from Tāmaki Makaurau. Former drummer for deryk, K M T P, Makeshift Parachutes and Blu Fish.
Empathy for My Future Self is a 13-track album releasing on the 20th of June, with a release gig at Big Fan on the 5th of July, supported by K M T P, Club Ruby and Misheard Records. Tickets available from UTR.
