SACHI Join Forces With Poppy Baskcomb For Uplifting New Festival Anthem ‘Holding Your Hand’
LA-based Kiwi electronic duo SACHI return with their radiant new single Holding Your Hand – a euphoric collaboration with UK dance music powerhouse Poppy Baskcomb.
Driven by lush synths, pulsing beats, and a warm sense of nostalgia, Holding Your Hand is a love letter to golden festival moments – dancing in the sun, good vibes, and being in the moment. “It’s all about that feel-good festival energy,” shares Poppy.
A rising star in the global dance scene, Poppy Baskcomb has lent her unmistakable voice and songwriting to heavyweights like Tiësto, Meduza, Sub Focus, and Sonny Fodera. Now, with a highly anticipated run of solo releases in 2025, Holding Your Hand sees her continue her momentum with one of her most joyful features yet.
SACHI (Nick Chrisp and Will Thomas) first met Poppy in LA, where the initial spark for the song took shape. “We’d been huge fans of Poppy for ages from the tunes she’d done with Dimension & Meduza — so when we linked up in LA we were so gassed to work together… She’s an absolute gun on the mic and we smashed the whole idea out super naturally,” says the duo.
Debuted live at Rhythm and Vines, the track sparked a strong reaction: “I remember people singing along so passionately – I was on stage thinking, we’ve got something really special here,” they recall.
With more new music and shows on the horizon, Holding Your Hand marks another milestone in SACHI’s journey.
