Static Celebrates 10 Years

Milestones are worth celebrating and Static will be doing just that as they reach their 10th year as a performing band. The band consists of five members (Sinaea, Cailum, Josh, Ryan, and Jason), each bringing their own unique style and approach to music drawn from different backgrounds. This variety of ideas has helped propel Static’s development into a genre they are paving the way for filled with the most genuine parts of themselves.
Known for their powerful vocals that are raw with emotion, and their high-intensity live shows, they are ready to bring all of that and more for one massive night of heavy riffs and dynamic melodies. With support from their good friends The Boondocks, Cootie Cuties, and Kiero, this will be a birthday bash like no other!
Debuting a new track later this week to tie in with the celebration, Static are excited to share something fresh with their friends. A song that moves narrowly away from their signature brooding sound, the track Get A Job demonstrates a much more progressive approach to their songwriting. Featuring a funkier tone to their verses and a surprisingly stripped-back outro, listeners who have not had a chance to hear this live yet can experience it at their upcoming shows, or if you’re unable to make it, follow their socials for release updates.
With 10 years behind them and still well within their youth, Static have solidified their overpowering sound and are still trying to push their boundaries with each new track. Alongside a catalogue of unreleased music and a growing list of gigs booked for the back-half of the year, there’s no telling what surprises these artists have in store next.
