Heavy Greasy is Dale Kerrigan at full volume – noisy, direct, and locked in. It’s the result of three years playing shows across Aotearoa, sharing bills with friends, and writing songs in the margins.

The album was recorded live by Gloria Cescon (Pretty Dumb, Butchers Model Glue) in her lounge in Dunedin in late 2024 / early 2025 – just up the road from where Dale Kerrigan made their first two records. The setup was raw and familiar – like jamming at band practice.

Scattered throughout the album are three noisy, lo-fi interludes made by Shlee on GarageBand – warped sketches that split the record into pieces.

The album closes with The Amps Are For Everyone To Use – a statement of purpose. It reflects how the band sees music: as something anyone can make, and scenes as spaces for sharing, not gatekeeping. Noise is for everyone.

Nick Roughan (Skeptics, Bailterspace) added the final touches, mastering the album and preserving its raw edge.
