DayEyez Releases Final Pre-Album Single ‘Grave’
DayEyez, the AI-assisted alt-rock project blending emotional grit with cinematic soundscapes, today releases its latest single, Grave – the final track to drop ahead of debut album Mid Love Crisis, out October 24, 2025.
Grave is a moody, aggressive alt-rock track with explosive drums, dark guitar textures, and a haunting lyrical confession. Written in the emotional aftermath of a relationship’s collapse, the song captures the moment where there’s no point in holding on – only in facing the truth and finally laying it to rest.
“With Grave, I wanted to own my mistakes – not romanticize them,” says Shaun of DayEyez. “It’s not a breakup anthem. It’s a funeral for everything I broke.”
The track’s cinematic chorus – “So I let you down one more time / I never had much of a spine” – hits with raw honesty.
