Turkey The Bird Hit the Road for a Weekend of Intimate House Concerts

Taranaki folk trio Turkey The Bird are packing the instruments, polishing the harmonies and possibly unveiling some questionable brand-new outfits for a special weekend of intimate house concerts this coming weekend.

On Saturday 16th May at 7pm, the trio head to the beautiful Hilltop House Concerts in Wellington – a truly unique venue perched high above the city with stunning views and an atmosphere unlike any other. The venue is also celebrating 5 years of hosting live music, making it the perfect time for first-timers to experience one of Wellington’s hidden musical gems. The following afternoon, Sunday 17th May at 2.30pm, Turkey The Bird bring the songs north for another cosy house concert experience in Ōhau, performing in Dale’s lounge for a small audience of music lovers. The band will be road testing a stack of brand-new songs, alongside their usual blend of catchy folk tunes, rich harmonies, banter and good humour. Anything could happen.
