Talute Release Reggae/Rock Single ‘Driftwood’

In celebration of NZ Music month, Northland reggae/rock/folk band Talute newest single, Driftwood, is out now.

Led by songwriter Chris Davis, Talute’s music has been described as “universal in appeal and undeniably magnetic’” by Maggie Cocco.

Driftwood was written after a surfing incident on Auckland’s wild west coast and explores the turbulent, transformative waters of attraction.

Recorded at Auckland’s Kenneth Myers Centre and mixed by Whangārei’s Dan Stenhouse, this is Talute’s third release from their upcoming album.

The 6-piece Talute band are set to perform a release gig at the Pacific Coast Tap Room in Mangawhai on 19 May.
