Rowdy’s Rose Release Sassy Country Rock Song ‘Dive Bars’
Following another year of international nominations for their music, Rowdy’s Rose today release a fresh track telling the story of working your way from the ground up to reach success, with the highs and lows along the way.
With a cheeky rock feel, Dive Bars is a fun interpretation of the experiences and encounters along the way – starting off playing to empty rooms and then next minute, playing sold-out shows – and acknowledging the ups and downs of the industry and working hard to reach the top to be a stayer in the game.
Regardless of your career, they think it’s relatable to everyone with a clear message of keeping your eyes on the prize and never giving up because you love what you do.
“We’ve seen all kinds of venues and played an array of different shows now that sometimes it blows your mind where the road takes you – from run-down dive bars on the outskirts of Nashville with an old flickering neon sign that looks about ready to fall off, to a packed sold-out show in your hometown and everything in between!
We love to reflect on where we have come from and focus on where we are headed. Loving every minute of it! People may tell you to change but one of our biggest lessons is being authentically us – that’s what’s got us where we are – and that’s gaining international recognition, so something’s working!” says the husband and wife.
Produced at DC Studio NZ in Te Awamutu by the talented Dan Cosgrove as part of their debut album project.
As a Top Group Benny Award Nominee (NZ) for 2026, the pair continue to grind and keep working hard as their music spreads worldwide through international radio and streaming.
Their upcoming debut album will be released by the end of the year which shows their versatility as songwriters and ability to mix beautiful ballads with country rock bangers for a full and world class sound.
