Jeona Announces New Single ‘Documentary Remix (Special Version)’

Punjabi singer and genre‑blending artist Jeona (Simarjit Singh) is set to release his new single, Documentary Remix (Special Version), on 10 July 2026, across all major streaming platforms.
Originally from Amargarh, Punjab, and now calling Napier, New Zealand home, Jeona brings together modern Punjabi melodies with emotional storytelling and elements of hip‑hop, R&B, and trap. His energetic beats and heartfelt lyrics reflect both his cultural roots and the wider Punjabi diaspora.
Jeona explores themes of ambition, personal struggles, relationships, and real life experiences. His previous singles, Documentary, Masla, Defamed, and Desire, have shaped his signature sound, earning him a fast growing audience.
Jeona is committed to releasing a new track every month throughout 2026, a drive that has boosted his presence on worldwide streaming platforms. His most recent single, Desire, was released last month on 10 June.
His upcoming release, Documentary Remix (Special Version), offers a fresh, extended take on his breakout track Documentary, which recently surpassed 70,000 Spotify streams. Meanwhile, songs like Masla and Desire continue to build strong momentum online.
This new track is especially personal. Inspired by both his father, and legendary Punjabi artist Sidhu Moosewala, Jeona crafted the song alongside his brother Vikramjit Singh Vicku and music director GP Singh Rangrez.
“Just want to say to the Punjabi music industry that Jeona is chasing you up – soon will rock.” – Jeona.
With steady releases, rising listenership, and a sound shaped by both Punjab and New Zealand, Jeona is carving out his place as a compelling new voice in Punjabi music.
