Greg Johnson Releases New Single ‘You In Summer’
Greg Johnson releases a sun-soaked new single You In Summer ahead of his very special October/November 60 New Zealand tour. Also in October – coinciding with spring in Aotearoa – he’s releasing a brand new album, Some Night, Somewhere.
Johnson says, “You In Summer is an up-tempo, cheerful-ish song about getting away from the world of never-ending commentary and social media, and outside into a beautiful place by the sea. Recorded in Los Angeles and Auckland by my live band, Wayne Bell, Mark Hughes and Ben King, it’s the 5th single from my upcoming album Some Night, Somewhere, due out in October.”
The Greg Johnson 60 tour will feature fan favourites from Johnson’s rich catalogue, including hits such as Isabelle, Don’t Wait Another Day, Save Yourself, Now The Sun Is Out, and Liberty, alongside songs from his highly anticipated new album, Some Night, Somewhere, to be released in October.

Greg Johnson also has won some impressive awards. He won the Top Male Vocalist Tui award at the Aotearoa Music Awards in 1995, plus the APRA Silver Scroll | Kaitito Kaiaka in 1997 with the song Liberty, and the 2003 Tui for Best Compilation Album at the Aotearoa Music Awards 2003 for The Best Yet.
