Lucy is a rising alternative-pop performer, producer, singer and songwriter based in Auckland, New Zealand whose social media has skyrocketed their music into international markets.

Phone Song blends summery-pop elements with a harsh industrial core. It leans into alternative trap, and pushes the bounds of jersey club inspired electronic pop in different ways with every verse. Throughout the verse, music and lyrics become one in a reflection on Gray’s own relationship with experimenting out of the pop world.

“And I should really know better now, know when I get up to that last door they’ll send me to the ground. Am I falling off the edge or is this pushing out the bounds? Picking all the pieces up and turn em’ into sound”

This single marks the third dropped as a part of their upcoming project releasing in October. Their next show is a co-headling show at The Tuning Fork with Holly Hebe. Phone Song will be accompanied by a music video out on July 10th.
