Push Push Announce Rare Intimate Auckland Show

One of Aotearoa’s most iconic rock bands, Push Push, will perform an exclusive headline show at Dead Witch, upstairs at Ding Dong Lounge, on Thursday 20 August 2026. With capacity strictly limited to just 100 people, the performance offers fans a rare opportunity to experience the band in one of Auckland’s most intimate live music venues.

Fresh from their reunion tour celebrating the 35th anniversary of their breakthrough hit Trippin’, and following the release of their latest EP, The Truth, Push Push continue to prove why they remain one of New Zealand’s most enduring live rock acts. The Auckland performance comes just days before the band heads south for Go Live Festival at Christchurch Town Hall, making this an exceptionally rare chance to catch them in such a close-up setting.

Fans can expect a set packed with the songs that helped define a generation, including Do Ya Love Me?, Song 27, Two Times, their crowd-favourite cover of I Love My Leather Jacket, and Trippin’, alongside new material from The Truth.

Opening the night is Fork, the hard-hitting Northland power trio quickly making a name for themselves on the New Zealand rock circuit. Their blend of heavy riffs, infectious energy and commanding live performances has seen them emerge as one of the country’s most exciting new acts.
