Clair and Teddyyy Unite in Digital Heaven
Bridging the underground club scenes of Naarm and Tāmaki Makaurau, the opening track of Remix:Movie sees Clair and Teddyyy unite for a match made in digital heaven.
Founders of Celestia 天体 and NYMPHO, respectively, the two share more than a place in their cities’ nightlife – true synergy is found in their shared musical landscape of glittering, ghostly pop. The first notes of ceramic cat (Teddyyy Remix) call Owl City to mind, before sweeping strings pull the track towards euphoric DnB.

Chinese/Mongolian artist Clair is the rising star of a new cosmic realm, the girl-boss of her own event series Celestia 天体, an empire based in Melbourne, Australia.
Clair’s background in classical music has seamlessly merged with her attraction to dance music, leading her to explore analogue synthesisers and electronic hardware. Building on this foundation, Clair has expanded her skill set to become a singer/songwriter, bringing forth her ethereal-trance-pop sounds live to the stage.
In 2025, Clair released her debut album Movie – a trance-pop fusion layered with ethereal soundscapes. Invoking emotion on the dance floor is the backbone of Clair’s artistry, with soundscapes characterised by feelings of ecstasy, nostalgia, and awe.
Teddyyy is the musical project of Theodore Holmstead-Scott (Rangitāne o Wairau). He is a co-founder of the iconic queer club night NYMPHO.
Teddyyy has opened for hyperpop icons 100 gecs, horsegiirL, Ninajirachi, Isabella Lovestory and Thaiboy Digital, as well as DJing the private ‘Brat Afterparty’ for Charli XCX following her headline Laneway show.
Teddyyy’s music offers an atmospheric, emotionally-driven take on electronic pop. Spectral vocal hooks are woven through a tapestry of trance, hyperpop, ambient and club sounds. His ear-candy SoundCloud edits have garnered over 1,000,000 streams and his 2024 single, Radio, debuted at #1 on 95bFM.
