Stan Walker Releases ‘Home’

Stan Walker today releases Home, the reo Pākehā version of his new waiata Kāinga, and the second part of a three-version release.

Written for his tamariki, Home carries the same promise that’s at the heart of Kāinga – wherever life takes them, Stan and his wife will always be their home.

Home follows the release of Kāinga, which arrived ahead of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. A third, bilingual version of the waiata will follow soon..

The new music also marks the beginning of a new period for Stan as an independent artist, with a new album planned for 2027 and his return to solo live performance underway.
