Shihad to Release 30th Anniversary Blue Vinyl Reissue of 1996 Self-Titled Album
In celebration of 30 years, November 20th sees the reissue of Shihad’s self-titled album, affectionately known as “The Fish Album”. To mark the anniversary, the album is being repressed on CD alongside a limited-edition blue vinyl pressing, which arrives in new premium limited edition gatefold packaging.
Released in 1996, this landmark third album was a breakthrough for the band. It spawned the massive radio hit Home Again, which achieved heavy airplay on both sides of the Tasman and was the anchor of their ever-popular live sets.
Alongside Home Again, the record boasts enduring fan favorites like La La Land and A Day Away, cementing its status as a defining chapter in New Zealand rock history. To ensure these classic tracks sound bigger than ever, the original recordings have been meticulously re-mastered by Tony ‘Jack the Bear’ Mantz.
