Eimear Kelly has been a rising artist in Auckland’s indie-pop scene since the release of her heartbreaking bedroom ballad Crumbling. Au pairing in Spain at the time, the song marked the beginnings of her recording career in 2019. After returning home to further her craft at MAINZ and the University of Auckland, she teamed up with fellow MAINZ student Adam Rivers to create her intimate debut EP, Frame of Mind.
Her songwriting and vocals have featured across screen and commercial projects, including co-writing and performing the 2023 Spark Christmas campaign song and featuring a soundtrack on the ThreeNow series Double Parked.
After falling into a post-graduation spiral in early 2024, Kelly turned to her archive of unreleased songs, setting out to make them into a demos as a way to free herself creatively and move forward into her next chapter. These now finished tracks are set to be released across 2025.
