Genie

Genie is a band formed in early 2026 after the initial break up of the lead vocalist Matthys Petrus’ band Ashes of Eden. Matthys, Adam Burdett and Finn Visser jammed some songs Matthys had been writing and really enjoyed playing together after which they decided to form a band.

After gaining some social media success Matthys started burning out and Genie went on a short half year hiatus while he focused on his solo music. Soon the band reformed and are now working on a couple of singles as well as their debut album.
