MIG Rabat is a vocalist & multi-instrumentalist specializing in high-energy pop-punk. Heavily influenced by the likes of Jimmy Eat World, State Champs and New Found Glory, he aims to create his own unique sound of riff-based pop-punk infused with insanely catchy melodies and choruses.
Having been around music since the age of 12, MIG picked up the drums as his first instrument. A love of rhythm instilled in him a great foundation when approaching songwriting. A love of riff-based music was further enhanced after being exposed to the likes of Tom Morello and John Frusciante in his uni days. Although Pop-Punk is his main jam, he has a soft spot for 2000’s Nu Metal as well. He has been in a few bands overseas before turning his sights to New Zealand where he hopes to share his love of good music to everyone!
